Charcoal a weapon to fight superoxide-induced disease, injury

Scientists at Rice, the University of Texas Health Science Center’s McGovern Medical School and the Texas A&M Health Science Center developed artificial enzymes made of treated charcoal that may aid in the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
